PL Freeroll

2nd! For the second time in 2 days I've been down to 350 chips in the PL focus game only to come back to make the final table. Again I got very lucky, winning my races as a short-stack to hit the final table with a decent stack. Played fairly solidly when it was 10 handed but as the numbers dwindled so did my play. My 99 all-in was called by KK and I was highly fortunate to suck out on the turn. That luck continued when I was in for all my chips with a nut flush draw that I was fortunate enough to catch...against a set of 4s! My short-handed, HU and final table game definitely needs a lot of work, but I am quite chuffed to have done so well, even if I did need a lot of luck getting there.

SO Boss PL MTT

Finished 5th tonight after playing what can only be described as crap poker, even by my lowly standards. Was down to 250 in chips but lucked through to about 1200, before winning most of my races to storm to the chip lead at the start of the final table. Lack of ability at playing either position poker or big stack poker IMO cost me a bit, so that's something I'll have to work on...that and about 200 other things!
